Archaeology Day
September is Archaeology Month for the State of Indiana and every year the state DNR department chooses a new theme. This park event will also follow that theme. Children will learn how to conduct a proper archaeological dig, including excavating their own section of ground to uncover treasures. They will also learn why it is important for artifacts to be in the hands of professionals and not kept as personal belongings.
