I just recently moved to Vincennes, IN to take a position with a physical therapy clinic here. I ran track and cross country for my university, so staying active is a big part of my life. Thinking of strange inventions that I will never actually create is a strange compulsion I seem to have.
My interests include video games, history and religion, random bullshit and debating. Oh, and story-telling. Not fanciful fictional-style tall tales, but actual things which happened that are so surreal they would make a good fictional tale.

For examples, ask me about my apartment burning down, being held at gunpoint for no reason by the police or nearly getting a cavity search at Dallas/Ft. Worth airport just for starters.

Hmmm. What to say. At this stage in my life I am a PhD student and nearly done (whew!) and it seems like I've been in school way too long. Presently I work as an Asst Prof of Earth Science at a small college here in the midwest.

My life (as many folks do as well) comes under the "long strange trip" umbrella. Have worked in the oil fields of SE TX, as a prison guard, piano mover, salesman, electrician's helper, apprentice plumber, furniture repairman. I helped deliver my first son (midwife was running late - whattya gonna do?). I can make a mean lasagna. I've been struck by lightning and I've published a poem (which I'm kinda proud of) as well as an article in a chemistry journal.I've lived in PA, OH, MI, TX, HI, IL and now IN. I'm a complex person with kind of simple - if eclectic - tastes.

I'm a big computer-guru who could, and will, waist days just playing on the internet. I'm not totally introverted though, I love cruising around in my clunker (Dodge-Intrepid) Soon I will be cruising in my Mustang- once it gets fixed. I'm pretty excited about this, seeing as it's a fixer-upper. It needs a lot of work, but once I'm done, it will be pretty cool.

When I'm not playing on the computer I'm looking for a job. Mostly, I can say that I spend time with a very few amount of people. I tend to have a small group of friends who I am pretty tight with, and a few other friends that I just socialize with. Audra, Tyler & Chris would be the people I spend most of my time with. Audra has been my friend forever & all that jazz. Chris, of coarse, is the boyfriend. Tyler is just some hobo I met in college. XD

One of my common hobbies is airsoft. I own a Echo 1 P90, and play on a team. We are pretty serious, and love the challenge. Wanna play with us? There's nothing more fun then laying in the mud in your MARPAT camouflage, and firing a few rounds towards some unsuspecting person's chest. Hopefully we will play a lot more when summer comes. It's too damn cold out for me.

Even though I like to roll in the mud, I have my girlie times, also. I'm obsessed with skirts, dresses, make-up, and Sally Beauty Supply. So don't go thinking I'm a tomboy. I really don't like that label.

I also don't usually subject myself to parties. I don't drink, and don't enjoy being around people who do. This just kind of goes with my personality. I don't like to do wild-crazy-stupid things. I'm not your "living on the edge" kind of girl. Granted, I'm not just some boring housewife, I love having fun, just not illegal/dangerous fun.

I'm a college student who is tired of dealing with frat boys and self mutilating jerks. I want someone who is a little more mature and knows what he wants in life. I really enjoy school and love learning new things, but procrastination seems to come over me from time to time lol For now I'm working at WalMart as a cashier. I used to live in a larger city up in Delaware and kind of liked it but I don't want to live somewhere with as many people, hence why I love Evansville its the in between. I'm looking to make friends more than anything, and if love stumbles in along the way then it needs to make one hell of an entrance (LOL!). I don't know anyone around this area, girls or guys, so I'd love to meet someone who I can get along with and meet new and exciting people. So some things you should know about me are, I love art and theater (plays)! When I go back to college I'll be majoring in Art. I may not be the greatest at drawing and painting but its a learning process, and the more I practice at it the better I get (but I desperately need to practice more...) I love anything by William Shakespeare! I was in and helped direct several plays while I was in High School and I've seen Hamlet live. I'd love to go see more of his plays, but time and money do not permit such things :( . I love to go to parks and play on the playgrounds. I'm a kid at heart and would love to keep it that way. I think is fun to go and take random crazy pictures and just hang out with friends there. Its a great meeting place and its fun all together. I like to play video games. I have an Xbox360, but I'm only a silver member. My favorite game right now is Assassins Creed 2, second favorite is Devil May Cry 4, third favorite is Assassins Creed. I'm not big on Halo, and I'm currently attempting to get into Gears of War, but because I have a silver account I can't play online... I also have a PS2, Wii, and GameCube. I'm not much of a girlie girl, but I would like to become more of one. I'm a t-shirt and jeans kind of girl, only because I like to be comfy. I'd rather look like trash and be comfortable than look stunning and uncomfortable, granted some people would say that I look stunning no matter what I do... (I think they're trying to suck up to me). I like my hair short, I think it looks better that way. I'm also not very materialistic, as much as I'd like to be, my nature just won't let me be. I feel bad if someone gets me something and I have nothing to give in return. Hence why one of my favorite quotes is "Dote upon thyself rather than other, for that gift is more happily recieved." -Author Unknown. I do love to get things but again my nature tells me I should get something in return. Well I guess thats just about it. I know I've forgotten something but I'm sure it will come up in conversation... Oh yeah! I don't get on here and check very often so if you message me just give me some time to respond. I am a misplaced stone. I live in southern Illinois after globe hopping for the military for 14 yeas and it really drives me nuts.
